Speed up closing Windows 7

Here’s how to speed closure of Windows 7 and get a few seconds:
- Type Regedit in the search field of the Start Menu, then launch it.
- Open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE in this way
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control
- On the right side of the window, double click on WaitToKillServiceTimeout
The value data are default to 12000 (12 seconds). They can vary between 2000 and 12000
- Once the data value changed, click OK and close the editor
