Install new hardware without installation CD

Submitted by No Comment

You have lost the installation CD, or it is damaged, and you do not know how to install your equipment?

Windows includes a module that detects and allows you to install without CD installation your new hardware!
To do this, open the Control Panel (in the Start menu):

  • Windows XP: Use the “Add New Hardware” and follow the instructions in the wizard.
  • Vista / Seven, go to the module “Device Manager” and then use the tools “add a new device” or “add a new printer” as appropriate and follow the instructions in the wizard.
