How to reactivate the task manager in Windows XP?
Solution
To re-enable your task manager, do the following:
- Go to Start / Run
- In the command prompt, type regedit.exe
- In the file tree, go to the following folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER> Software> Microsoft> Windows> Current Version> Policies / System “
- Right click on Disable taskmgr, select “edit”
- In the following sequence, change the last digit by one, so you have the following sequence: oxoooooooo (1)
