Disk Cleanup in Windows Vista

Submitted by No Comment

I. Introduction to the Disk Cleanup

Clean your hard drive can be very helpful for a more stable operating system and also to let you save space. It is therefore important to do regularly because many temporary files are created as and when able to use your computer.

II. Explanations

First you must go into Windows Explorer, for that click “Start” then “Computer”. Then right-click your mouse on the disk to clean (in our case and more generally C :) and click “Properties” as below:

Now click on the “Disk Cleanup“.

You will see a new window appear, wait a moment.

And then a new window will appear.

Select the files to delete, in general they are all “unnecessary” and can be deleted safely. Then click “OK” you will have this message:

Click “Delete Files”, wait a moment and voila! :-)
