Dassault Systèmes a good first quarter and sign two acquisitions

Dassault Systèmes, the French flagship software, announced the results in line with expectations for the first quarter of its fiscal year. In the first three months of the year, the editor of PLM tools and 3D modeling has recorded a turnover of € 485.3 million, up 5% (6% at constant exchange rates constant). Net income is also modest (2%) and amounted to EUR 73.7 million.

These results are attributable to the increase in the activities of the software publisher, which rose 8% (at constant exchange rates) to € 446.4 million. Alongside the announcement of its results, Dassault Systèmes announced two acquisitions: the first Archividéo, “a pioneer of 3D simulation of Cities” based in Rennes, intended to foster 3DEXPERIENCE strategy. This acquisition complements the tools of technology with Dassault 3D representation of cities and territory. The second FE-DESIGN is a German company specializing in the optimization of the product design. His tools will be integrated into the platform SIMULIA, Dassault Systèmes.
